I made a sort of shadow box with a shelf of our bookcase (it has glass doors for each shelf) and put a cake server, my bouquet, picturebook, cake topper, invitations, etc in it. People seem to really like it.

Keep it and use it! Everytime you have a cake- birthdays, anniversaries etc- use it and you will remember and discuss memories of your wedding.

I put our keepsakes into a tall clear vase instead of a shadow box. The caker server set, cake topper, my hairflower and some other small stuff.

The photo is horrible, but i think you get the idea

I like the idea of using it for future celebrations! But decoration in a shadow box sounds great too!

I have all of my important wedding things in a giant bell jar next to our fireplace, including my bouquet.  For the cake server, I am going to use mine.  I love it and since I love to bake beautiful cakes, it is nice to have something pretty to serve it with.

I might pass it down. This sounds crazy, but maybe give it to one of my future children, and they can engrave their date and names into it and then just pass it down.

I’m using mine! Well, I haven’t used it again yet because I haven’t baken any cakes/pies since the wedding, but I will use it for serving cakes/pies in the future.

I purposely chose a serving set that didn’t overly scream “wedding” for this reason, because I planned to use it after the wedding too.  (They do say “MR & MRS” on them, but they don’t have a lot of bling/sparkle/ribbons/etc.)

I have ours in our china cabinet. I also have the champagne flutes and cake topper..it’s basically a tribute to our whole wedding ha. It looks beautiful though and everytime I look at it it reminds me of the big day
