So me and FH love the idea of a custom wedding map and plan to utilize what little artistic skills I have to make them ;P But I wonder..where would it be most appreciated at? As the SaveTheDate, the actual wedding map, or in their welcome bags with “Welcome To Asheville!” across the front? Sofar all the possibilities seem equally delish. I’d just like to hear some opinions~ Thanks!

@MadameLady: I say use it in the wedding invite. I probably wouldn’t keep it around long enough after a STD. They could be nice too for the welcome bags. Hm. Could you do both? ^_^

To me save the dates are just very general preliminary information to let people know what date the wedding is on, and an idea of how far they’ll have to travel.
I’d put it in the invite.

I would say to do them in the welcome bags, since this is mainly for those out-of-town visitors and those guests coming from in town wouldn’t need the directions. However, if you have the time to complete them before invitations go out and it’s not going to cause you more in postage (due to weight), I say put them in the invitations!
