I would save at least one for putting on salads!  Maybe use 1-2 cans for a nice chili?

I don’t have a recipe for beans and rice, but chili is easy to make!

@ForeverBirds:  Oooh, I’d do a big pot of turkey chili!

Go have fun and surf AllRecipes.com for a good one, that would be my bet.  You could use up like 3 cans in one big batch of chili!

@ForeverBirds:  yup!  A really good salad is lettuce, kidney beans, chopped egg, ham, Vidalia onion, and a bit of shredded cheese.  Kind of a hearty lunch sald.

@ForeverBirds:  Kidney beans are my favorites! You can make quesadillas with kidney beans in them, or make kidney bean burritos. You can add them to scrambled eggs with cheese. You can add them to boxed rice dishes (if you have a package of zatarains or yellow rice or any other flavored rice mix) – or just cook up some brown rice, peppers and onions, and kidney beans, and add your own seasoning. You can make kidney-bean stuffed bellpeppers in the crockpot or the oven. You can even add them to pasta dishes!

this is a super easy recipe for chili beans and it’s delicious!

2 cans of stagg chili to 1 can of kidney beans

1 can of baked beans

1 can of corn

1 can of stewed tomatoes (undrained)

throw it all in a pot, heat it up, and that’s it!

You could cook carrots and kidney beans together for a side dish. I have used cannaloni beans with carrots before and I’m sure kidney beans would be good as well. A little olive oil for the carrots and then drain the beans before adding them to the carrots. Maybe a little herbs or garlic salt to the mix and yummy side dish to go with anything.

I also recommend the kidney beans in chili, but since it’s not cool there yet, save it for a rainy day. The cans of kidney beans will keep for ages so don’t worry about rushing to use them.
