I loved my veil so I wore it through dinner, first dances/parent dances and cake cutting but took it off when we hit the dance floor for real.

I took mine off for the reception and wore a flower in my hair instead. 🙂

I took mine off. I had a huge veil it would just not have worked. I’ve seen a lot of brides keep it on when they do the tucked under thing and its short.

I’m switching to a tiny birdcage veil on a headband for the reception.  This was the compromise between my mom and I, as I wanted a birdcage and she wanted a traditional 🙂

I left mine on after the ceremony… through the entire reception!

That veil is coming off after a few pictures after the ceremony and being put away until someone else needs it. I think it would be way to annoying to try to maintain it during the reception because I plan to won that dance floor! 🙂

First Dance and then gone is usually what I see.  But mine is for Ceremony only.  I am wearing my mothers veil, because my fiance is traditional and he would like to have me walk down in a traditional veil – but, after that is done whoohoo…  done with that heavy thing on my head.
