If you like it, go for it. I, personally, wouldnt and might find it a little strange if someone elses house considering the size of it.

I saw where someone had made throw pillows with their dress. also, some people have christening outfits for their children made with it. I don’t really want to keep it as is, so I will do the previously mentioned or take it to a consignment shop.

i am trying to imagine a frame that would fit a wedding dress!  it sounds like a cool idea, dont think i would do it personally.  i am trying to sell my dress.  for me, it was just part of the decor of the day.  expensive, over priced, but had to have it, decor!

@FutureMrsChaney: our dry cleaner does preservation and it’s in a really nice box. That would fit perfect on a shelf.

I think framing is a lovely idea, but I’m not sure where you’d hang it. It’d have to be a custom job for sure.

I think I saw this in one of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” shows.  She had hers hanging in her giant mega closet.

I am debating on selling mine, because I know it will just sit in my closet for years to come and I would rarely look at it.  I have lots of pictures to remember it by!  I think framing it would be an ok idea if you had the right place to put it, I would think it would look out of place in a living room or dining room (a room where there is a lot of action).
