I want to “secretly” get my fiance’s wedding band engraved before the big day and I’m having trouble what to put inside the band. What do you think sounds the best?
1) “My babe” (I call him babe more than his real name! haha it’s been a nickname since we first started dating and everything I say has “babe” on the end of it or I say “I love my babe” to him instead of I love you. Lol)
2) “With all my Heart” (whenever we say I love you to each other we always say “I love wyou with all my heart”..its a mutual thing we both have said to each other and sign it in all our cards at the end)
3) #1 or #2 with our date engraved on the other side of the band (ex: “7.4.2013 – forever)

Honestly, this just rubs off after years of wear so I wouldn’t bother.

@BrandiRyan: I liked the last choice. I think all your options are adorable though.

@beachbride1216: Yes, and no. It depends on how well the person engraves it. If they put a very shallow engraving on it then yes it’ll wear of quickly, but if they correctly do a deep engraving then it’ll last for a very long time. I’ve seen a lot of people who after tens of years still have their engraving inside their rings.
@BrandiRyan: How about combining them? What about something like this.. “My babe, with all my heart – 7/4/2013

I got DH’s ring engraved in secret – he thought it was super cool. I put the coordinates (like, longitude and latitude – he loves camping and navigating and stuff!) of the church, exactly where we said our I do’s!
