    @beachbride1216:  Yes, and no. It depends on how well the person engraves it. If they put a very shallow engraving on it then yes it’ll wear of quickly, but if they correctly do a deep engraving then it’ll last for a very long time. I’ve seen a lot of people who after tens of years still have their engraving inside their rings.

    I got DH’s ring engraved in secret – he thought it was super cool. I put the coordinates (like, longitude and latitude – he loves camping and navigating and stuff!) of the church, exactly where we said our I do’s!
