I breastfed for about 5 weeks and it didn’t take my nipples very long to get back to normal. I know it’s nowhere near as long as you nursed but they do go back.

mrsfancycups:  I have a 6.5 mo old but I wonder the same thing!  I noticed during pregnancy my nipples got super super dark, and then they lightened back up in the first month or two after birth but my nipples definitely stick out a lot more at the moment (definitely need a full coverage bra lol)…it is, um, fascinating how big they are when I take them out of the pump, too

mrsfancycups:  I breastfed for a few months, and I wore pads for quite a few weeks after that, just incase. It didn’t take long before my boobs returned to normal. They are a little darker and bigger than before I was pregnant, but overall they are still the same and went back quickly.
