So, my mom’s birthday is next week, and when I asked her what she wanted she said, “Nothing, I want you to put that money away for your wedding”. I think she is a little disappointed because she can’t contribute more money to our wedding then she already is because of financial constraints.
So, I’m not going to NOT get her something. Maybe nothing too big because she’ll feel bad that I spent money on her. What should I get her Bees?!!!

Hmm…could you get her a gift cert toward her wedding outfit? That way it’s “toward the wedding,” but still something specially for her.

@ mightywombat Yeah, I like where your head is at. Maybe a visa gift card, since I don’t know where she might find something, and put a note on it, like this is for your shoes!

The thing my Mom liked the best was spending time together. She passed away a couple of years ago, but I have great memories of lunches, concerts, country drives, garage sale adventures etc that we shared. Turns out they were a gift to me also.

Why don’t you make her scrapbook full of pictures and notes etc. it’s cheap but it is thoughtful and much more personal. Good luck. X
