We are giving our parents photo albums after the wedding, and at the rehearsal dinner they will receive a card from us and a little note inside indicating their future gift. We wanted to give them something to actually open that night, as well. We got our mothers/grandmothers little pins that go along with our theme so they can wear them on their dresses at the wedding if they wish. We are struggling to find something to give to the dads. We don’t think we want to get them cufflinks. Is there anything else that is fairly inexpensive that might be a good gift for them?

do they drink? how about a nice bottle of wine? you could even make your own labels for them or cups with their favorite sports team on it?
a humiodor for cigars?
golf club covers?
or, i know my dad would love a barnes and noble gift card – not very personal..but he would have loved it.

If you want to give them something they may want for the wedding, you could get an embroidered hankerchief, a small tie pin or something like that.
I’m having a fishing lure engraved with ‘father of the bride’ for my dad.

Thanks for the suggestions! We may go the gift card route because I feel like with guys they don’t do much with photos/personalized stuff/keepsakes. We wanted to have something for them to open and at least we can put them in pretty envelopes! Thanks!

I got my future father in law a nice fountain pen that was engraved.
I found a seller on Etsy that makes them from wood. The quality and craftsmanship was amazing.

Pocket watches? I like the classic, vintage feel of them. Probably not the most practical, but they’re great for special occasions and they sure are classy.
