Do they have a registry?

I had no idea as Maid/Matron of Honor what to get my best friend, so a few days before the wedding, I took another bm with me to shop for them. We both ended up buying the couple figurines from the Willow Tree line that were adorable. The couple proudly displays them now, and continue to say that they were so simple, they went with all their decor. The figurines were Angel of Love and Angel of Happiness. Since then, they’ve added to the collection because they all have some meaning.

Sorry so long…I just love the figurines as gifts. However, I think it would be completely adorable if you got them the gift card for groceries and wrote a cute note. i think it’s a very thoughful and creative gift. Maybe a gift card for groceries or maybe Home Depot to fix up the house?

I’m a big believer in sticking to the registry.  A lot of the "creative" gifts we got left me scratching my head.  I’d much rather have a toaster than groceries as a gift.

I would choose something from their registry. Although is that more stuff they’d have to pack up for their move?
A grocery store gift card would be a great gift to receive but I would personalize it a bit, put it in a gift basket with a nice bottle of wine (or whatever they like to drink), some gourmet snacks, and a nice candle & holder for their new home.

if you are getting a giftcard, its the same thing as cash and they probably prefer the cash as oppose to a giftcard

Got a grocery store gift card at my bridal shower, I LOVE LOVE LOVE having that, knowing I don’t have to shell out all that cash right after the honeymoon to stock my fridge. That would be totally awesome! Food is very expensive, if you know where they do most of their food shopping, GO FOR IT!
