What did you give your parents for a thank you gift?
For the life of me I can not think of anything to get my dad and stepmom. They are paying for the wedding. I was let go from my job in February so there is no way we would still be able to be having the wedding we are without their help so I really want to make sure they know how much it means to us but I don’t know how to thank them!
Looking for some inspiration! Thanks!

I was thinking of getting a good family shot done the day of the wedding. Blowing it up and having it printed on a canvas or something fancy for them to hang in the house. My mom is an interior decorator and works magic with different canvas’ and paintings in her house. That’s besides the point though. It’s thoughtful and such a good way to say THANK YOU, we couldn’t have done it without you!

To piggy-back off the last poster if money is tight scour Groupon. They have great deals on canvases every few weeks. Also a photobook of the wedding perhaps…..

How much money are you looking to spend?
I bought tickets to a Broadway show for my mom, a fancypants bottle of Johnnie Walker for my dad — ya know, the good stuff 😉 — and a gift certificate to a nice restaurant for FI’s parents. We’re also going to give each set of parents a wedding album when we get our photos back.
