What about a really nice ornament? I got my Mother-In-Law some ornaments a few years ago–they went over really nicely. They’re cheap too, under $20

this is just a list of stuff i’ve given the fi’s parents:

 

-digital frame (with all of the photos of the family loaded)

-as seen on tv “painting kit” for the Future Father-In-Law

-photo mugs (they’re huge coffee lovers) (but any photo gift from walmart, cvs, walgreens – they’ll love..) kinda DIY/kinda retail therapy 🙂

-gift cards or certificates for a weekend away

We’re FI’s parents a gift card to the Hilton where all of our Out of Town guests are staying.  It will be nice that they’ll only have to drive 5 mins after the reception and plus it’s nice to stay in a hotel once in a while.
