I am going to order the seperate and send wedding invites which include the formal invitation, reception card, and response card, however now I am stuck on what to do with the little map to the reception, along as the hotel info, is it ok to include that on reguluar paper?
I dont remember what other people have done?

You can do either. If you have the budget to have them printed on matching card stock, awesome, but it’s definitely not necessary unless you’re having a super formal wedding. We did invitation to ceremony and reception in one (held at the same place), response card and envelope, and a Moo card (love them!!!) that directed everyone to our website for hotel etc info. Everything was tied together with a ribbon. Had I not discovered Moo cards, we would have just printed a strip of paper with the a link to the website on it.
Also, the fewer pieces of card stock you have, the less your invitations weigh, and you save on postage. Ours were the price of a regular stamp, which is nice when you’re seinding out 100+.

It’s probably better if a map is really necessary to have ushers give them out at the end of the ceremony. Most people will forget to bring a map that came with the invitation. As for hotel information, I’d put that on the reception card. I’d have reception info on it and then at the bottom a statement like:
