I’m having a hard time matching my flowers. My bridesmaid dresses are a blue/purple color so we’re matching them to pink roses. Then, I am using a black magic bouquet.
Now, the problem is, the altar pieces and centerpieces. I have no idea what colors to match them with and my florist is suggesting more pink, even though my fiance does not like that idea.
Any ideas for colors and flowers to match? I suggested blue hydrangeas to my florist but she said that wouldn’t look good. I’m so confused!

It might be better to go with all white and ivory florals w/lots if greenery at the ceremony. I actually prefer all white at the ceremony, it’s very regal! ModageFloral.etsy.com

For an altar piece, how about mixing some purple and blue flowers? Lisianthus, delphinium and irises all look beautiful in arrangements and are more durable than hydrangea (plus, they’re on the cheaper side!). You could also mix in some pink roses for cohesion.
You could go in a completely different direction for you centerpieces if you like, or include the same flowers, as you’ll be in a different space. For round shorter centerpieces, I love lisianthus and roses together, especially with some greenery. You can also tie-in your linen and decor colors.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m going to talk to my florist and maybe suggest some of these.
