I forgot my cell phone charger :/ lol Also make sure you your camera is charged/has batteries.  I also took flip flops to walk around in and shower with. Several outfits for baby to come home in, clothes for my self to come home in. I ended up NOT wearing the pants I had worn during my pregnancy because I was too swollen in the legs and they wouldn’t fit. So I wore my pj bottoms lol I think I will wear a maxi dress this time.

Hair brush, toothbrush, lots of thick pads, granny panties, deoderant, ipod, book to read, snacks, make-up if you want, other personal items you think you may need like contact case and solution, glasses, etc…

Also will be bringing in the car seat when we go in as my dad was the one to bring me home from the hospital as SO had to work and he couldn’t get it out of the car haha so they did actually let me go get it ONLY because there was no other option, they weren’t happy about it though as it was against hospital policy as I technically wasn’t released til they wheeled me and baby out.

Hope that helps some. I’m sure some other lovely Bee’s will have some other great items too.

I’ve just gotta say, well done starting your bag at 29w! I’m 36w and only just started tossing a few things in my bag last night. Definitely procrastinating on this one.

But this is the list I’ve been referring to:

I do like the idea of flip flops for the shower as well, though Darling Husband assures me that the hospital bathroom is super clean and they aren’t necessary. And I will definitely be bringing a sleep mask, though I don’t imagine I’ll get much rest while in the hospital.

I want to pack some cute button down (classic type) flannel pajamas.  At my hosipital they make you shower and want you to eat within two hours after birth- so it would be nice to have something to change in to that I can still do skin to skin and nurse in.  I am getting a special organic nursing pillow I will bring.  I will have a nursing bra packed.  Some yoga pants and a shirt and jacket to leave in.  I think Darling Husband will wear his swim trunks under his pants 🙂 when we go to the hospital in case I want him to massage me in the shower- and our hospital also has the option of a water birthing tub (in case I want him to get it- he can’t be naked! 🙂

I will pack sparkling water and sparkling juice and power snacks for him- and the camera of course.  Then I will bring a few outfits (soft footed pajamas) for baby, so we have some options for her and her carseat.
