How many people, and what are you willing to spend?

A half bottle of wine,

couple bottles of water,

some snacks (like pretzels, nuts)

Aspirin, rolaids

map of the area and of area attractions

timeline and welcome letter.

What’s special in your area? Try putting in a popular snack or drink. How about a bottle of wine? Maybe a map of the area?

I think snacks, bottled water/drinks…things to do in the area/popular places, wine, coffee, mints/gum, tylenol…. itinerary of wedding events, if there will be kids maybe some coloring/cheap activities…a thank you note thanking them for coming…

Not much exciting in the area. I’m not originally from VA and the only things (as far as I know) that VA is known for is peanuts and ham. Not very exciting…:-l

What?!?  Virginia is awesome.

My wedding is in Richmond and I’m doing VA is for lovers stickers (people love those things), brochures (take a bunch from Welcome Centers on the highway), Hubbies peanuts, aspirin packets, water bottles, welcome booklet w/ info, and some sort of sweet treat.  My bags are canvas and will have a pineapple screenprinted on them, which is a colonial symbol for hospitality and friendship.

You could go with Virginia’s natural history (beaches, mountains, piedmont, tons of National Parks), its history (colonial history, Civil War, most US presidents from VA), its rich architecture, or more state-themed with dogwood blossoms and cardinals.
