So, we are doing charitable favors (donating to both St. Jude and Children’s Miracle Network), but we thought it might be nice to include something little for the guests to take with them as well.
It is an outdoor wedding. We are having a butterfly theme with light blue and light yellow as our colors.
We bought ivory sachets and plan to attach a tag that says we donated, but can’t decide what to put in them. We have narrowed it down to three different “types” of items:
- Lavender, flower seeds, or other nature item
- Something edible like chocolate or mints
- Some sort of personalized souvenir
What do you bees think?

Flower seeds or lavender for sure. Chocolates will met in the summer heat and I think the nature item goes well with your theme!

edible – perhaps you could make something? Wrap it with something that links to your theme, maybe brown string and a real leaf with their name?

Agreed, chocolate will melt – I think since you’re having an outdoor wedding, it’s really sweet to give a gift of something outdoorsy. Seeds are a great idea, although usually people give seeds in packets with instructions on where to plant & how to water. So lavender sachets might be the best bet. Those are such a nice favor – I have some at home and they’re really nice for my linen closet & t-shirt drawer! haha
That is really sweet that you’re doing charitable favors!!
