if  you feel shy about standing around in your scanties, you might take either spanx or bicycle-shorts type thing…. you might also want to take some heels, of your own liking. (they’ll no doubt have their own pairs for trying on, but still.)

Whatever you do…do not wear a thong haha!! I made this mistake because that is the type of underwear that I usually wear and I didn’t even think about it (sorry if that is TMI)! The bridal stores should have anything that you need there, but I would bring a couple things just in case.

I would bring a strapless bra, camera (some places won’t let you take pics though), heels, snacks and water (it can be exhausting), and a couple of your close friends/family 🙂

Haha! I wore a thong and didn’t care and I’m sure the ladies working there have seen butt cheeks before, I wouldn’t worry about that too much. It all depends on how comfortable you feel flashing your butt to a person you’ve never met. The other girls covered it all, water for sure- trying on dresses is thristy work- some places will offer water or even wine. Ask about taking pictures before you start snapping away, some of the store owners are very touchy about that. 😉

I wore a thong, I wanted it to be more like what I would actually be wearing under the dress.

Whatever undies you wear, make sure they’re a thin material, preferably “no-line” and a neutral color. If you already have jewelry that you’re considering, bring that. Bring inspiration pics with you too, so they get an idea of your style. Shave your legs and be prepared to have your boobs shoved into cups! Hey, it happens! 🙂

Make sure to bring some exta hair bands, if you are wearing your hair up!

When I went dress shopping, my hair band broke while tryinng on a dress and I wish I had brought an extra along.

Honestly i didn’t bring anything with me except family.  But one thing I do suggest is bringing an OPEN MIND!  You might have a dress in mind and then try it on and hate it or you might think that you could never see yourself wearing “that” dress then put it on and LOVE it!  So be open to trying different dresses!  This is exactly wht happend to me!
