I think bubbles will look the best. It is modern. The rice has to go. Such an old tradition!

Bubbles or petals would be cool! We’re going to have bird seed.

Alot of places wont even let you throw rice, so make sure you check that out. Also, if you throw petals the church may ask that you clean them up as well.

So for convience and beauty (and FUN) I would vote bubbles!

We’re doing bubbles and tied personalized ribbon to them!  They are really cheap right now at the Knot Wedding Shop.

People tossed rose petals for us and the pictures are really cute.  A word of caution though: one thoughtless guest pitched a fistful of wet rose petals in my face that ran down my dress 🙁

i’ve heard that bubbles will leave little stains all over your dress (especially sillk, which part of my dress is made of) so it makes me a little nervous about using those… right now i’m leaning toward having little bells for everyone to ring

Bubbles are just soap and water, so they stain would be more of a water stain etc. I agree that bubbles could leave a stain, especially on silk, but for the amount of time you spend walking through the bubbles, and how small they are, I highly doubt that anything would be significant or noticable.

Just to let you know you shoudn’t through rice anymore because birds eat it and it kills them. That’s why alot of people changed to bird seed.

I vote for bubbles since they will be pretty at the beach!
