This isn’t my first go round and I’m very much up in the air as to what dress I should choose. last time I hated my dress. After trying on upward of 50 dresses we soon realized I needed something with sleeves because my chest was so big. Uncomfortable with my weight at the time, I felt like I was wearing an embellished curtain. I want to do it right this time. I’m now happy with my body and, thanks to a breast reduction, no longer have the top half plaguing me.
Our ceremony and reception is in a vintage tea house and we’re having less than 50 guests. I don’t want anything over the top with tons of beading, but dont want anything to plain either. I’ve been looking at the mermaid/trumpet sillouettes with little to no train and have found a few that tickle my fancy, but I just can’t commit yet. I like to do things a little different, so I’ve thought of wearing a color other than white or ivory. My only fear is that Fiance is Scottish and will be wearing a relatively colorful, but not offensively loud kilt.
I know now you ladies have brilliant ideas, so let them flow! What do y’all think?
