I think it depends on the location and “theme/feeling/setting” of the pics.  Are they casual? Formal? Funny? Outside? Inside?

I am a bustier girl myself, and we had our e-pics on an exepectedly cold fall day.  I wore a dress, colorful tights and boots.  We took pics with and without our coats, too, so we got a couple of different looks.  Do you have a kind of dressy coat?  I love my coat pics:

A silly one, but it shows the tights and boots well 🙂

And here we are without coats:

I think the rules of what not to wear are a bit silly.  I heard that you shouldn’t wear black, but it was what i was the comfortable in, and I felt like me.

I’d say wear a dress and tights for the weather, or skinny jeans with boots.  I love cozy looking pictures 🙂

AWw I’m so homesick for Seattle!

I think e-pics where the girl wears boots and a scarf are always always cute. Way too cold to wear a dress I think. And if it rains, bring an umbrella – those make such pretty, colorful props in e-pics!

Also, check out your photographer’s blog and look at posts from last fall/winter – you can look at what other girls wore for inspiration. That really helped me pick out my outfits. (I wore three, and I’m really glad I did because one of them ended up looking really bad in the photos – my bra straps were showing, etc.)

A beautiful trench coat, black leggings & cute boots would look amazing!

I think a cute coat or blazer with skinny jeans or narrow trousers and boots would be cute.  I agree that a scarf or umbrella could be really cute props.  I think the most important thing is to feel comfortable in what you are in so you can enjoy yourself.  Have fun!

I love cute coats and jeans pictures, and dresses with tights, too.

Just make sure you’re comfortable, too! Wear something that looks and feels like you.

I say Skinny jeans ( Dark color)  with a cute crop coat maybe  Red to add that pop of color … and that way if you do black and white ( dont know what its called dont kill me LOL) but they will leave your coat red and the rest of the photo blk and wht 🙂 so cute … and I say  cute Kitten heels black  just so it looks more natural … and I agree with bringing an umbrella in case rain that will look even nicer with a blk and white pic black umbrella red coat :-)…
