I wore a cute maxi dress when we left for Hawaii.  On the way home though, I wore the white sweatpants and zip~up jacket I decorated with “Bride” on the front of the jacket and ” Mrs. G*****” on the back in crystals.  I wanted to be comfortable on the plane ride home and we were getting in late so it was going to be cooler.  I’d worn the sweats the morning of the wedding for getting ready and it was nice to get another use out of them.

I bought a hoodie from victoria’s secret that says bride on it and plan to wear it on the honeymoon. I need to get as much use out of it as possible!

I haven’t quite figured out what I’ll wear, but hopefully something comfortable-but-cute.  I look really good in turtlenecks, and we’ll have a long flight to England that day, plus I’m sure England will be a lot colder than I’m used to.  And I always freeze on planes, though I’m not cold-natured at all.  At the moment, I’m thinking fitted black turtleneck, jeans, and, if I can find them, warm-but-pretty boots that can be slipped off for the transAtlantic flight.  I’ll probably add a pashmina to cuddle up in during the flight, too.

I haven’t figured out what I’m wearing but I think @MrsPaulsBabyBallerina: had the right idea about being comfy in a maxi dress and sweats lol.  If I find a maxi dress I may just have to rock it out.  It’s a long flight to Hawaii, lol.  That’s where we’re going too.  I’d like to do that or get a shirt that says Mrs. ____ and all that jazz.  I think it’d be cute.

We’re going for comfort I think. We have a 15 hour overnight flight so I was thinking leggings, a tank top, and some layers. Definitely a pashmina and flip flops. But I love the idea of a maxi dress! If only I could find any long enough…

I only fly in sweatpants. Cute sweatpants, but sweats nonetheless. 🙂

We have a 14 hour flight.  I’m wearing running compression socks so my ankles don’t get fat, and probably a lululemon dress i bought for the honeymoon.  I don’t care how dumb the compression socks look lol.

I got a comfy black “sexy little bride” hoodie from VS so I will be wearing that and maybe a white tank and shorts.

Love all of the “Bride” logo attire that everyone is doing — so cute! Long flights &/or quick runs through airport mandate that you dress comfortably.  Someone suggested compression socks & that is brilliant!  I second that recommendation!  If you are going to wear a dress or thin top, then make sure you take a hoodie, cardigan, or a pashmina b/c those planes get awfully cold once they’re in the air.  Also, if you’re checking a bag, then pack a swimsuit & at least 1 change of clothes in your carry-on in case your bags are lost or delayed.  Happy travels!

I wanted to look smart and sexy and feel comfortable when flying 17 hours off on honeymoon so I wore a silk wrap dress and the red patent Jimmy Choo heels Darling Husband bought me as a wedding present.

Please be aware of your surroundings when picking out fun outfits for travel. Identifying yourselves as a celebrating couple can attract unwanted attention from pickpockets, theives and con artists.  It’s always better to be discreet in high-traffic, hectic places, especially where there are a ton of tourists, as tourists are magnets for theives.

@fishbone:  This is a good point.

I wore black leggings and a long fitted VS teeshirt that covered my butt and crotch, and flip flops. We flew from Pittsburgh to Hawaii, so there was no way I was thinking about wearing jeans.

I wore a cute sundress but I saw many other couples on the way to their honeymoons too at the airport and I was SO JEALOUS of the brides that had the Tshirts or bags or whatever that said Bride or Mrs. whatever.. I didn’t think I wanted that stuff for myself but when I saw it on everyone else, I really wish I had it.
