Darling Husband and I are going to a wedding next month and I’m trying to find a dress to wear. I’ll be just shy of 11 weeks, so probably still in that awkward inbetween phase where I don’t really look pregnant – just bloated and chubby. Any tips on hiding a small bump? Bonus points for supplying a link for an example, extra bonus points if it’s reasonably priced 🙂

At 11 weeks most of my pre-pregnancy stuff still fit, so I would have been able to just wear something I already had. If you do find that you are showing, I think a skirt and top (like a maternity pencil skirt and flowing top) are the best way to hide a bump and still look good.

You can wear a wrap dress if it’s not a super formal or black tie affair. Kate Middleton was just photographed in a Max Mara wrap dress that was very flattering on her tiny baby bump. There are some nice fancier ones in silk by DVF and lot of jersey knit ones from various brands as well. Plus, you can still wear it post-baby!
Here’s a Huffingon Post article with KM in her wrap dress: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/19/kate-middleton-baby-bump-photos-pictures_n_2715691.html
Here’s an example of a DVF wrap dress. I personally love this color and pattern.

An empire style dress would work. It cinches below the chest and flows out below. You can find this type of dress anywhere, I am sure Forever 21 has a few and they are pretty inexpensive.
