What kind of wedding is it?  That dress is really cute but I don’t really think it’s wedding appropriate.  It looks more like a sun/maxi dress just for everyday.

How much are you looking to spend?

I LOVE Internet clothes-searching! 😉

I read the title as “What to wear to my wedding”. I said, “Um, hello?!” outloud and my Fiance came into the room, thinking I was mad at him for something.

Depending upon the formality:

I think this one would be very pretty and with the right accessories, could easily dress it up and the polyester/spandex combos are flattering and are virtually wrinkle free. I have a lot of dresses (some fancier than others) like these and always get compliments on them. http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=577995&CategoryID=37038&LinkType=#fn=sp%3D2%26spc%3D353

I know this one might show your ankles more than you’re wanting to but the hemline/silhouette might distract. You could do a neutral/black shoe and a few accessories that pop so the attention is up top… maybe throw some color in with the cardigan? http://www.lanebryant.com/plus-size-dresses-skirts/maxi-dresses/twist-strap-sharkbite-maxi-dress/4031c17740p118761/index.pro?Mcatn=maxi+dresses&Mcatpn=dresses+%26+skirts&Mcatg=category_root&Mcatp=cat_4031%406000&Mcat=17740%406000

Maybe you could find a long, flowy black (or other color/formality, etc) skirt or pair with a pretty top? Might be easier to mix and match at a better price point vs. finding the perfect dress?

Good luck! 🙂

ETA: Why do models wear clunky shoes that would make any dress look frump-a-lumpy?

Dont forget that a nice camisole worn under a low cut anything can solve that problem!

accidental double post. I  do however think the first pic you posted would be fine with a bolero or cardigan over top.

I love the dress PP posted from Modcloth, but in my experience, Modcloth runs pretty small even when they say they don’t. I’m ordinarily a small/2 other places and have bought mediums from them that are snug…

What about this dress? I have a coupon code (LOVEIT) that takes 40% sale items and gives you free shipping!
