I have no idea what I want for a band anymore! And of course my doubts are peaking right when it is time to order them 😛 So I figured I would turn to the ring experts on the bee for advice 🙂
My fiance designed the perfect engagement ring for me on Blue Nile. It has the thin band and pave stones that I really wanted, and I love the way it looks on my finger:
Since I got the ring, I’ve been planning on getting the matching band to go with it:
I think this ring is really pretty on its own, but I am worried that with my ring it will look like I just have a thick band (I’ve seen a bunch of people discussing that type of effect on here). The thick band look is the opposite of what I want, so now I am confused! Maybe should I get something contrasting instead? Aaaagh!
Any suggestions would be more than welcome, and I would love to see pics of your sets too! Thank you dears 🙂

I like the bad you have picked out! Before I saw it that is what I would have suggested! Have you gone to any jewelers and tried any bands on?

You could do a plain band or maybe eve a rose gold diamond band… That way it wont just look like your engagement ring is one big ring…

I got a plain band while my engagement ring has channel set diamonds… I like how each ring stands out on its own…

I like what you picked out

I think the one you picked looks great.
However, I think it might be even nicer to go with a plain band, so as not to take away from the diamonds in your ering band.

@sarahbabs: I was in a very similar situation – I also have a pave setting and originally thought I just wanted a matching pave band. But then I didn’t want to create the thick band effect – here are 3 wedding bands I’ve tried on that could be some inspiration for you:

@AshleyR83: I looooove that middle band, everytime I see it it makes me want a twisty band! Although I don’t think it’d go well with my e-ring. But it goes great w yours!

if you get a ring that isn’t channel set it might stand a part from the ering more or you could get a wedding band that has more flare to it like the ones that Ashley posted!
@AshleyR83: LOVE that last band! Your ring is beautiful!

@auggiefrog: Thanks! I do too, but I am worried now. I have not tried bands on, but I think that is a good idea.
@Belles64: Oooh, the plain band idea is a good one. Is your band the same mm width as your e-ring? They look great together!
@JustLove25: Those are very pretty! I love the look of rose gold, but unfortunately it does not complement my pale, pink-toned skin well 🙁 Thank you though!
@GelaMac: Thanks! Your ring knowledge is vast, so that is reassuring 🙂
@lilsweetie: That is just what I am worried about! If I did not plan on wearing my e-ring all the time, I’d go for it, but I don’t know how they’d look together.
@AshleyR83: I was hoping you’d reply 🙂 Those are lovely – which one did you end up going with?
@marinewifetobe: Is the band I posted considered channel-set? I am not too clear on what that term means, to be honest lol

@AshleyR83: I think the second ring looks gorgeous!

Thanks ladies – to all, I have not yet purchased anything but i am 99.9% going with the second band!
OP, have you tried any bands on? It might be easier to make up your mind if you see them in person!

@AshleyR83: I haven’t, but I talked about it with my fiance last night, and we are going to try to go this weekend 🙂
