How about TWO bands- one with diamonds, and another plain one for when you travel/play sports/go camping/paint the house, etc. Plain bands aren’t that pricey, and you could mix it up. Curved vs. straight would depend on how your Engagement Ring sits.

I think a diamond band would go better.  Something like this perhaps?

I agree with @rebwana:  get both! for the diamond one, I’d choose a matching channel set band.

honestly, I don’t think you need a curved band. you will have a very small gap, and I personally like how that looks.

I agree with Janie-Janie. A straight channel set band would be beautiful! The gap will be small, and with a non-curved band it will also look nice on its own for the times you want to wear just your band.

I think you should get a channel set diamond band that matches your setting. My friend has a setting similar to yours and her band is a matching channel band and its beautiful! The only thing is she refuses to get them soldered together and her diamonds have fallen out a couple times because the bands keep rubbing together and wearing down the gold.. just a thought. Beautiful engagement ring! Congrats!!
