i am a liquid liner kind of gal. to the point where if not worn i actually feel naked! (is that odd?) i use ELF in the darkest shade (1.99 at Target or Walgreens or any drug store actually) it stays on all day and does not smudge. if you are looking for a waterproof I would go with the Stila stay all day liquid liner thats waterproof Sephora for about 22 bucks !

I never did like wearing much makeup, until I discovered Kylie’s lipkits and Tarte Cosmetics’s vegan-friendly light, camera, lashes precision longwear liquid liner! It applies like a dream and stays put all day.

My all time favorite ever pencil liner is Maybellines unstoppable eyeliner in espresso. I like my eyeliner thicker (suits my eye shape best) but it’s a soft pencil without being smushy and lasts foreverrrr without smudging or smearing or wearing off. This is how it looked even after carnival rides, wind, and laughing with friends all day. (You can see how rough my hair looks in comparison)

Another vote for stila stay all day!

If you want to make the transition over to liquid, I suggest buying those pen type eyeliners. I currently use Shu Uemura, but any drugstore brand is fine jsut for testing out purposes. It works exactly like a sharpie, and if you know how to use those, you’re set.

I use Kat Von D tattoo liner and it stays put all day without smudging. I used to use a crayon type eyeliner, but it would always smudge, but it was an easier type of eyeliner to apply if you have difficulty with liquid liners.

I’ve used Maybelline’s Line Express Eyeliner in ebony black since I started using make-up regularly as a freshman in high school. I’ve tried other liners and I just don’t like them. It’s creamy and goes on smooth, so it doesn’t scratch my eyelids when I apply it. The smugie thing on the end helps me blend it well for a smoky eye. I have really dry skin and make-up always just sits on top of it, which means pencil linear always lasts all day for me whereas it doesn’t work well for someone with oilier skin.

Kat Von D’s Trooper is my favorite for winged liner. For colorful winged liner, I like the new Urban Decay liquid liners. For tightlining I use Colourpop.

I don’t like liquid liners only because they are very bold and harsh looking IMO and I prefer a more blended and subtle look. I use Clinique Quickliner in Violet. It’s so smooth and easy to put on and it lasts all day.

Estée Lauder double wear! It has a twist up applicator, so no need to sharpen. It also has a foam smudger so you can blend and don’t have to worry about getting it all precise and neat. This helps make it thicker too.

Another vote for Kat von D tattoo liquid liner! I applied it yesterday morning at 7 am, accidentally fell asleep without taking my makeup off, and woke up at 9 am this morning with it still perfectly applied! For a liquid liner it’s very easy to use too.

I learned using gel eyeliner and a brush, from Bobbi Brown. Then I moved on to the crayon which I think it even a little easier because you don’t have to keep dipping the brush. Now I almost always use Kat von D liquid eyeliner, but when I first started learning how to do eyeliner, liquid was really frustrating and difficult. I’d definitely try to work up to it 🙂

I use the Kat Von D liquid tattoo liner and top it off with some black eyeshadow to keep it in place!
