I am having a nautical wedding in august and I am so lost when it comes to flowers. The only one i can name is peony.. I know I need boquets and centerpieces but flowers are not a huge deal to me so I dont want to break the bank. Our colors are navy, white, and some light pink. I love white flowers with greenery..I assume I will just have a flower arrangement in a vase with a table number for my centerpiece but I am open to suggests. Also, will a lower centerpiece look under whelming? Sorry if this is going so many directions I just dont know where to start
Here is my venue
and I will be having navy and white stripe table runners- heres inspiration

@Tbblount: PP had some great options! I LOVE LOVE LOVE peonies, and am also getting married in August, and I don’t know about your area but they are not in season here in August which makes me sad 🙁 however, there are lots of other options. Hydrangeas are one, garden roses are very pretty too, and look up dahlias. They come in a VERY pretty light pink colour that we will likely be using for our wedding!

@Bri1o: +1 on the garden roses and dahlias! They’d be lovely in pale pink and/or white with lots of greenery. I love that look!
Also, I definitely don’t think low centerpieces will be underwhelming. The striped table runners and beautiful chandeliers already make a bold statement 🙂
