Just curious to see what kind of invitations the Bees are sending out. We were going to go with DIY invites, but then found some Seal & Send ones that we really loved and ended up being only $25 more than the DIYs that we wanted.
So, let’s hear from the brides:

I am making DIY pocketfold invites. I will be printing them at home and assembling them all tomorrow so I’ll post with some picutres this weekend.

I picked other. We designed and ordered letterpress invitations (from Bella Figura in New York…I can’t say enough amazing things about them). They’re not really “traditional” in design per se as we wanted something formal yet different, but letterpress is of course a really old and traditional print style.

ours were traditional single sheet invites. I got them done on a website for super cheap
Post # 6
Traditional thermography (raised lettering) from William Arthur. Some might say they are plain and traditional but I literally have never seen a nicer invite in my life (yes I’m bragging, whatever, I love them)

Is this considered pocket and folder? I love my invites and most people said they were the most elegant ones they have ever recieved (goal accomplished!).

I’m a graphic designer so I created my own. I printed them all then used metallic pearlescent paper as a backing. I used matching pearlescent envelopes too. I made an invitation w/ backing, a small RSVP card and a direction card w/ backing.

we are ordering our invites, directions & rsvp cards from wedding paper divas then jazzing them up a bit with products from other companies. Once I decided on colors, etc we will be ordering enclosures, nicer envelopes & envelope liners I found on paper-source and cards & pockets. so I guess I am semi -diy on the invites.

We did DIY pocket invites. I don’t think I would have ever found something I liked that didn’t cost an arm & a leg! I love how unique mine are because I almost killed myself printing on linen fabric (for the main invites). I would NEVER do it again, but it was totally worth it!

seaside, your invitations are beautiful and definitely NOT plain!!! Very elegant
Treejewel19, yes, I would definitely consider your invitations to be Pocket & Folder. They look similar to some styles I saw when we were trying to decide what kind of invites to get.
