I’m not big into jewelry. My wedding set is the only jewelry I wear. But after we have kids I would like to add a ring to my set (or maybe just get a right hand ring) to represent them.

goodnightsf :  Class rings, one with a stone on top and the other with the school logo on top (both in gold).

This is really timely because today we were paid our bonuses and it took everything in me to resist strolling down Fifth Avenue and picking up a sparkly to bring home…! I want to wait until my son’s a little older and can help me pick something out. I’d love to look down at it and think of that sweet little boy and how he chose it for me.

But I really don’t think there’s every a bad time so long as you can afford it and it’ll make you happy ๐Ÿ™‚

goodnightsf :  I love turquoise! have a few turquoise rings. If you’re careful with them, they will hold up. They should be removed if you’re cleaning with chemicals. I have one I inherited that’s about 50 years old, and I keep it in a dark ring box when I’m not wearing it. I guess turquoise loses its color if exposed to sunlight for long periods of time. My white turquoise is still as beautiful as the day I purchaed it.

A ring that I buy myself? Or just as a gift because I like it? Any time.

To add to my wedding set? A milestone anniversary or birth of a child. My husband gave me an eternity ring for our last anniversary in November which has rubies and diamonds, rubies to signify the birth of our first child who was born last July.

I’ve always regretted not getting my college ring, but it was $400.00 and I was getting married a week after graduation.  My engagement ring was cz.  There was just no way. ๐Ÿ˜ž
