I am new to pregnancy. My doctor gave me a variety of samples the other day and now I just want to know which is the best or most recommended? She gave me Relnate DHA, Concept DHA, Vitalfol-One, and PreQUE 10. Have you tried any of these?
If you have or others please give its name and how your body reacted to it?

I just went to walmart and bought the ones they have there. They didn’t make me sick or anything and they were lots cheaper then if I had to have a prescription for the ones the doctor recommended.

I take the One-A-Day prenatal + DHA.

I take the Target Brand prenatals. They’re cheap (like $8 for 200 pills or something around there), and has most of what I need, minus DHA, which I take a seperate supplement to get (Rainbow Light, I think).

I take Rainbow Light Once a Day Prenatals and a Trader Joe’s DHA supplement.

The brand I take is called Spring Valley. It’s a multivitamin/multimineral that’s supposed to be taken once a day, ideally with food, so I usually take mine at breakfast. Haven’t had any problems with it so far.

I take Bellybar chewable prenatals. They’re the only chewable I could find that contains the recommended 27 mg of iron. I haven’t had any problems with them and would definitely recommend them. The only downside is that they don’t have DHA but I take a separate DHA supplement and it works fine.

Erm something I picked up at the grocery store. Has +DHA. I told the doctor I was taking them and she didn’t seem too concerned about it, just as long as I was taking something and eating healthy.

I take the Trader Joe’s brand prenatal and a Flintstones Gummy for DHA. In the beginning when I got sick from regular vitamins I took Flintstones with DHA and Citrical chews for calcium.

Up until today I was taking Target brand gummies – “prenatal gummy multivitamins dietary supplement”. It has DHA and folic acid.
I ran out and went to buy more, and they didn’t have, so I’m trying Vitafusion “prenatal DHA and folic acid gummy vitamins”.
I’m sure they’re the same!

I take NatureMade prenatal multi with DHA. I got them at Costco.

I take “New Chapter Perfect Prenatal”. I did a lot of research on prenatal vitamins, and chose this one because:
– No dyes.
– No unfermented soy.
– No synthetic vitamins.
– Vitamin A is 100% from beta-carotene.
– Daily dose is split into 3 pills for better absorption and to be easier on the stomach.
– Contains probiotics for easy digestion.
– Not “horse-pill” sized, easy to swallow.
I also take “Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA” (the ‘official’ DHA supplement of the American Pregnancy Association).
And extra Vitamin D!
Side note: I’ve found Amazon is the cheapest place to get most vitamins. Especially with the “subscribe and save” option.

I also take the One a Day with DHA supplement. I haven’t had any issues with them and I take them after dinner.

Vitafusion gummies. Love them!

In the beginning I took Centrum Materna, but now I take Spectrum One-a-Day’s. I had no problems taking either but the Spectrum is virtually identical to the Materna only half the price. Mind you I was really lucky and only started getting really sick in the early second trimester when all that extra folate doesn’t count as much.
Like some of the PP’s have said, I have a few girlfriends who have been sicker than me in the first tri and did really well on gummy prenatals.
