I also take the Nature Made with DHA prenatals. Big huge bottle of them from Costco. They’re almost always on sale or there’s always a $3 off coupon, so it makes the bottle something like $14 for 150 vitamins? Cheap, but good. It has all of your iron, folic acid, etc… the only thing it’s a little short on is calcium, but I make sure I get enough of that by drinking milk, eating cheese, etc.

I also take the Vitafusion gummies and another one called Brain Smart with DHA. I alternate between the two. Because the Brain Smart are giant horse size pills and you take with lots of water. There are days that I feel like if I drink that much water to get the pills down they’ll come back up. So those days I do the gummies. My OB said that the main things to look for were the folic acid and the DHA.

I take what appears to be a generic brand prenatal multivitamin. They were what I could find when I found out I was pregnant. They are manufactured by Major Pharmaceuticals in Michigan. I took them to my first doctor’s visit and my doctor said they were fine. They have everything I need. He said he may put me on a calcium supplement around 6 months, but I have been trying to eat a lot of yogurt and other calcium rich foods since hearing that. These pills are pretty big and I don’t want to have to remember to take anything else. I haven’t finished this bottle of 100 in the 4 months I’ve been taking them. Oops!

I take VitaMedMD. They are available online only and came highly recommended by our RE. They have been really good to my stomach and has plant based DHA.
They are 20 bucks a month and ship to my house for free.

I was told by my doctor at my 8 week appointment to increase my calcium. I just do Vitafusion Calcium supplements to get 50% of my calcium intake for the day. The rest of it is completed with cheese, yogurt, and ice cream.

I did not take prenatal vitamins, some of you will gasp at that. But they made me pee way to much even for a pregnant woman. I also rarely take meds, every once in a while an aspirin for a headache, so taking meds during my pregnancy scared me even if it was just a vitamin. In the end I had a 100% problem free pregnancy and birthed a healthy 7.13lb baby girl. Yes she gets SOME immunizations, but not all the recommended ones and NO we don’t eat organic or are even really health conscious, medications just freak me out and even more so since my dad passed almost 8 yrs ago from an accidental overdose of prescribed medications. So no pre natal vitamins are an option.

Seems like everybody is taking all kinds of prenaal vitamins…. whatever works for us and our new babies!

I take the VitaFusion pretal gummy vitamins with DHA and Folic Acid. They are really easy on my stomach and super yummy. Unfortunately, I just realized about a month ago that since they are so kid-friendly, they do not contain iron! So I’ve been taking iron supplements lately, as well, since I’m slightly anemic.
