    Heels, but low heels.  I wish to be comfortable and make it through the entire 12+ hours without taking my shoes off πŸ™‚

    @LovelyLee:  I wore these (because you mentioned you liked blue):

    They were under $40 and I will certainly wear them again!  They also have bright pink ones.

    @LovelyLee:  I’m wearing 2.5 inch peep-toes for the ceremony and most of the photos, then changing into 3.5 inch strappy sandals for the evening reception and dancing.

    Which probably sounds backwards, but basically, the higher heels aren’t stable enough for my liking for walking down the aisle, esp with my heavy train; but I just can’t dance in lower heels. It will also mean my dress is slightly off the floor in the evening which I’m hoping will make it easier to dance πŸ™‚

    I’m 5’10 and Fiance is 6’0, plus our reception is outdoors, so I’ll be wearing either flats or a very low heel. I feel super-underdressed when I wear flats with formalwear, so I plan to buy a nice designer pair to glamour it up a bit.

    @LovelyLee:  I couldn’t justify that either.  So I thought $40 was pretty good for a pair of super comfy flats that I will definitely wear again.  I got quite a few compliments on them.

    @LovelyLee:  I am wearing a pair of heels from Macy’s: http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/enzo-angiolini-maiven-pumps?ID=544576&CategoryID=13614&LinkType=#fn=BRAND%3DEnzo%20Angiolini%26sp%3D1%26spc%3D5%26ruleId%3D27%26slotId%3D4

    A friend of a friend wore them for her wedding and she said they were comfortable for the most part — I think she switched to flip flops late in the evening when the dancing got crazy πŸ™‚ I plan on wearing them around the office with socks to break them in a bit.  After a few discounts, I think my mom purchased them for about $50!!

    I’m 5’3″ and I bought these really awesome heels to wear. Well, at my alterations appointment, me feet were killing me. Like, all I could focus on was the pain. So I decided to wear these really pretty white (dressy-ish) sandals that I already had.

    I wore strappy Stuart Weitzman heels that were about 3-3.5in.  For me, they were on the low side (I usually wear 4-5inch heels) so were very comfortable.  The ceremony was on the beach so I was bare foot for that, so actually ended up only wearing my heels for about 4 hours.

    We were married in an outdoor, lakeside ceremony. I did NOT want my heels sinking into the ground, so I wore embellished wedges. My shoes weren’t very visible under my ballgown, anyway. I broke them in well before the wedding day, and they were quite comfortable. Now I wear them with skinny jeans to go out.

    I’m wearing flats with a small low heal.  I’m 5’7” and comfortable with my height, and just want to be comfortable on my wedding day.  Plus, if you wear a low heel or flat you can take your shoes off at the reception if your feet are bothering you without having to trip on your dress.
