I always get spruce from a tree farm. This is because spruces have big heavy-duty branches and I have cats and heavy ornaments. Also, spruce seems to cause less allergic reactions with my guests than pines or firs.

Honestly I don’t pay enough attention to the type of tree to vote. I go to a tree farm, and pick out something that I like the way it looks. A lot of the tree farms I’ve been too don’t really label what type of tree is what (though I am sure if you asked for a specific one they would tell you). I just like short needles with a full body, so whatever fits that bill, then I just look at overall shape. Of the ones you posted I like the Leyland Cypress, but I don’t know if that is actually what I get.

I voted fake tree…but Darling Husband wants a real one this year! So we may have to get one. I think the “Carolina Sapphire” is the prettiest! 🙂

Out of the pictures that you posted the Virginia Pine looks the most like a Christmas tree to me.

We all get together at a friends house that we call our second home and decorate there. This year, we have the little tree from Charlie Brown lol. We might get a second, bigger tree though.

I like the Leyland Cyprus that you posted!  We don’t have most of those types of trees up here.  We got a blue spruce one year and this year we have a Douglas fir.

My favorite is a white pine. I like the long, soft needles, and how full they are.

Another Noble Fir girl here. They are long lasting, sturdy branches, great smell and have some space between the branches to hang ornaments.

I think my family usually gets a Douglas Fir.  Darling Husband and I are getting our first real tree this year, and it will be whatever they are selling at the high school down the street (we like to support the area schools) – haven’t looked at their selection yet.
