I’m not sure what type of veil to get to go with my dress…my wedding is outdoors and has a vintagey/gardeny feel to it. Since it’s outside, I want to avoid a loooong veil (it will get messed up in the grass I imagine) so I’m sticking with the shorter ones…but I’m still not sure what type would look best!
I’m leaning towards a birdcage veil but do you think that would look good with my dress? Or should I go with a more traditional veil?
Thank you 🙂

My dress is quite similar and also has the corset back. The advice I received (and took) was to get a fingertip veil. The elbow veil would hit in the middle of the lacing and look awkward, whereas the fingertip will end just below the lacing. I took pictures. It definitely looks better with the fingertip.
I like birdcage veils, too, but not with this style of dress. Not that I’m a fashion guru or anything.

I voted for fingertip! I really don’t think a birdcage veil would go as well with this style of dress as a fingertip veil would. A birdcage veil is more vintage, so I could see why you are leaning that way… but your dress is more traditional than vintage!
