- Wedding: June 2013
I am getting married June 28, 2013. I am not sure what kind of veil to use for a ballgown dress? This whole bride thing is new to me so I don’t know what works what doesn’t…
Here are a few things to note:
I honestly love the long cathedral veils, the thing is I am getting married in an outside ceremony at the Manor in West Orange, NJ.
My mother says that a long veil will cover the dress and you won’t be able to see the details on the back of the dress.
My fiance is Dominican and his family is very Dominican. I’m not sure but isn’t there a spanish type veil that brides wear? Not sure the name. I am trying to incorporate this into the wedding as much as possible, i.e. music especially
I most likely won’t wear the veil during reception or depending on hairstyle I’ll have a short one for the reception, if I have a long one for the ceremony.
Attached you will see pictures of the venue, the ceremony place, and my dress. Please let me know what you think, I’d love to hear some honest opinions! Thanks 🙂
