    @rsanc89:  Yep I agree your dress says it all…. And you don’t want anything to take away from that beauty! I think a veil with sparkle would be perfect! Good luck and happy planning!

    I also had an outdoor, manor-type ceremony, plus my dress was a similar style. I found a fingertip length or anything shorter kind of sold the dress short, but I didn’t want a cathedral veil trailing on the ground, possibly catching on something on the ground and tearing.

    I found the perfect balance was a knee/waltz/waterfall/ballet length (it has many names). It hits at the back of the knee, so you get some of the length without it dragging. It also looked really pretty blowing in the wind in our photos. I chose single-layer, but I also considered double-layer, and I also wanted to keep it simple to avoid too much clashing with my dress.

    @rsanc89: Sorry, I realized that photo hadn’t shown up when I first posted, so I had to go back in to re-add, which is why you may not have seen it at first! I already had those uploaded, but here’s a few others I found in my photos that might help you see more detail. In retrospect, I might have gone with the double-layer for a little more volume and drama, but I did kind of want the blowy, ethereal veil shots, which I why I had chosen the single layer.

    I think if you could find a waltz length that has the sparkles like option 3, that would be absolutely gorgeous with your gown.

    Sorry if the photos are a little excessive. I’m hoping they’ll help you see how the veil sits and looks in photos at different times.

    I did a two layer elbow length ribbon edged veil. I liked this veil because it hit me at the most narrow part of my waist with the shortest blusher layer. It didn’t hide my gown, and was very sheer. I think as long as you dont choose something with trim that overpowers your gown beading (it’s gorgeous!) you should be fine.

    @rsanc89:

    Thank you!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    It’s braided off to the side.

    Here’s the back of it:

    I stuck little hair combs into the braid.

    From the hair trial:

    @rsanc89:

    Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ I always wear my hair down, so I wanted something that looked like me, just a little more polished. I love my photographer! I can not say enough about how amazing they are.

    I say go with a sparkly cathedral length veil. Everyone will be able to see through the veil to see the details and it will really complete the look.

    Rana Bridal in Englewood Cliffs has a really really nice one with scattered sparkle. I’m not sure which one it is, but you should go check it out! My mom is still talking about that veil
