Lovely dress! I would say a cathedral length because your dress is already dramatic with the draping, long train, and bubble hem and the cathedral would only add to it in a complimentary way. And I definitely think you could do a mantilla cathedral length because your dress is simple in the fact that there are no embellisments or lace and the mantilla would really give it some detail.

I think the look would be gorgeous 🙂

I think your dress is more of a modern elegance while a mantilla is a classic elegance.  I think a veil that is more modern would fit better with your dress.  Maybe something with crystals or beads would look nice.

Here is a pic that I found with beads.

Your dress is amazing! You can get a cathedral length. My train is a bubble hem chapel length and I am thinking about getting a drop veil in cathedral length.

I actually think that the architecture of your dress is beautiful and I wouldn’t want to cover that up!  You should do a fingertip length mantilla veil.  It would frame you well with the neckline, and allow the gorgeous architecture of your skirt to show!

yeah I agree with mighty sapphire, I say no to a full length/long veil, I think it’d take away from the dress. I think elbow length veil would be best. Are you wearing a hair piece at all, like a tiara or fascinator?

I too have a bubble hem dress with other similar characteristics (rouched bodice and messy pickups). I got a 2-tiered elbow length veil. I have a corset back so the veil didn’t hinder the view of the back or the train and actually accented it. I did try on a cathedral veil since I love the dramatic look of one, but didn’t like it on my dress. personal preference. Best way to figure out which veil is to try the veil with your dress on.

@des_salazar:  Ohhh, not to hijack (sorry) but I am sooo jealous about your wedding location. 🙂  I adore Colorado!
