I’m no help on the veil issue (mine is a birdcage veil from a local veil boutique), but I just had to say that dress looks stunning on you!!

I saw a make your own cathedral viel flyer at Hobby Lobby the other day..also I know that Jo Ann has veil patterns if you are semi-crafty and want to try to make your own.  I also know JoAnns sells lace for edging as well.  Hope this helps…good luck to you!

I too am in the same predicament.  I have posted a few times about where to find cathedral veils and it seems to me that most bees use glamgal.com or etsy.  A few have also recommended Occansey veils as well.  Good luck!  There are so many versions out there.  The veil you have on is lovely, but if you want to save money… consider a veil with only lace at the bottom or no embellishments at all.  With the detail of your dress, you could definitely get away with a simple raw edge cathedral or perhaps a thin corded edge whether it be silk tulle or bridal illusion.  You look beautiful in that dress. 🙂
