@Ashley_P:  I do have a pic. My wedding will be held in the courtyard of my high school (it’s a boarding school). I love that there is personal connection to it, only 6 weddings have ever been held there and it was only $650 to book! These pics are of another wedding, but I will be doing almost the exact same set-up.

My wedding ceremony will be at a church and the reception will be at a Venue/Banquet Hall. That wasnt an option thats why I hit other.

This is the Venetian in New Jersey

Bride and Groom table will be in between those two swirly structures. No tv’s will be displayed. I think thats super tacky. Also tables will not be on the marble dancefloor like displayed above. We just dont have enough people to do that!

The Bride and Groom table will on the stage on the other side. A huge wishing tree will be there instead. The entrance and exit are behind those curtains.

Im surprised you didnt put catering hall as an option. In my area that’s what most people use aside from a country club. OR, a hotel ballroom.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Kelley Agricultural Museum in Sharpsville, Indiana. It is a farm/barn venue. On the grounds, there is a farmhouse, round barn, old schoolhouse and log cabin (all pictured below).

Ours will be at a hotel. The ballroom downstairs will be the ceremony and the ballroom upstairs (with city view- St. Louis) will be reception.

@JenniferMm: GORGEOUS. I have serious venue envy right now!

Our ceremony is at a university chapel (we didn’t attend the school, just liked the chapel) and our reception is in the private event space of a restaurant. It’s pretty awesome.

Chapel (we won’t be using that table-on-wheels in the front so it will be gone – yay!)

Restaurant event space (this is just part of the room)

    So excited 😀
