    @allyfally:  Thanks! it’s from RobandLean:

    To clarify, I don’t have a high-quality picture of my husband’s ring yet, and his is the same as the one in the setting BUT we substituted the blue wood inlay for lapis as well, thinking wood wasn’t as durable. It pretty much looks exactly the same as that picture though.

    My husband has a white tungsten, so I voted “other” as many people aren’t even aware that it exists 🙂

    My husband has two, one white gold (we have matching bands actually) and one tungsten.  We got the tungsten one for free from the same place he got my engagement ring so that was nice.

    @MrsSnowMountain:  That makes more sense. I was like “wow, I’ve never seen lapis that looked like that!” Thanks for the link!

    The only thing my guy cared about is that the band has a distressed finish.  He didn’t want to have to worry about getting scratches on it.  We ended up getting a super bad ass ring in a style they call “moonscape.”  I’m obsessed with it.  If the women’s version hadn’t been super expensive I would have got one myself.

    Tunsten because he is totally OCD and the second his ring scratched he’d have had a fit! We paid probably 25.00 on Amazon. In fact he has an extra beacuse I ordered another style and was too lazy to return it and it was too cheap to matter anyway lol

    My SO and I were just looking at rings for him the other night. He really wants something that’s not the norm and I saw this on some geek website (geekology.com I think?):

    It has meteorite, 14k yellow gold, and dinosaur bone. Yes, you read that right: DINOSAUR BONE. I feel kind of weird about having something that should be in a museum – it’s just part of a leg bone but still – in a piece of jewelry but it’s something we’ve never heard of before and he likes that the meteorite kind of matches my ring (it’s moissanite). He also likes that design the 5 lines are “even” whatever that means lol.

    My hubby has a tungsten ring with a red and black inlay. It’s perfect for him! It’s a comfort band, unique, and he has dropped it on cement and in parking lots several times and yet it’s in perfect condition… no scratches or anything! (he plays with it a lot, no matter how much I tell him not to!) I alos love the fact that it was only $15 so we can always buy him a new one if he loses it or needs a different size without having to break the bank.

    Cobalt ring with small diamonds all around. It was like 500. But then again so was mine so fair is fair.

    @lovelee1:  Thanks 🙂

    He wanted tungsten, and I wanted platinum (because I love the icy white color) so when we ran across his ring for $90 and he loved it, it was definitely the perfect compromise!

    Palladium in the middle and rose gold on the outside. It was very different for him. He doesn’t wear jewelry at all. He was originally going to have a tungsten ring but decided that we should spend the extra money on it because he’ll have it forever (hopefully!).
