I would wear a bustier of some type.  As long as it is the same color as the dress, people will think that it is just part of the dress and not your underwear.  I found some at barenecessities.com and they have a pretty generous return policy.

@MissAsB- bare necessities makes me think of the kids movie Jungle Book! 😀 I am totally humming that song now!

@Rosie Girl- you can really wear anything you want. If you want to wear just a bra, you could get your dress altered so that there is a panel behind the lacing. It should be relatively easy for a good semestress to add a cloth panel behind there. Also, MissAsB’s idea of a corset is nice too! If you’re worried about muffin-top/bottom, you can always invest in a good pair of spanx- they come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and suck-you-in levels. A day or two ago I think one of the Bees may have posted about a line of “sexy” spanx. OR, you could go the more traditional, sexy, white underthings route so your new husband finds something lovely under the dress! 😀 Good luck!

my seamstress put a layer of tulle and then a slips type of thing built into my dress…I looked at bustiers but decided on a normal bra.  Bustiers come in nude and pretty hard to see, so that might be a good option!

I’m planning on wearing a longline/ bustier type bra.  Seems to give the right amount of lift 😉
