Salt water is awful for rings. Found that out the hard way last weekend…

I think all the lotion I use makes them dirty, I’m too lazy to take my ring off!

I leave my ring off at home most of the time, and take it off if I’m doing anything, but I’m surprised at how dirty it gets anyway! Just from accumulating stuff from the environment.

I take off my ring when I do anything with my hands except for work, so working probably makes my hands dirtiest, but I definitely take it off when I need to put my hands in food, when I wash them, when I’m cleaning, when I shower and when I put on lotion.

I usually take it off when I do anything that would make it dirty. My fiancé makes it dirty because he’s always grabbing my hand and looking it over because he’s paranoid one of the little stones in the band or halos is gonna fall out. Every time he does this, he puts his fingers all over the diamonds. It usually seems to be within 24 hours of me cleaning it, requiring me to then clean it again.

Having it on my hand or anywhere near the bathroom when I’m getting dressed.  The mousse, the hairspray, the lotion, aaaagghhh!

Oh my gosh! You should add “Other people touching it” to the poll. It drove me crazy when I got engaged. Yes, it’s shiny, now please stop putting your fingers all over it!

I take mine off all the time…I’m afraid I’m going to lose it one day… I always put lotion on my hands at work and leave it on my computer…one of the cleaning ladies is going to snipe it one day when they are cleaning my office!
