Honestly I would do a cathedral length single tier raw edge veil in the same color as the lace. I think a chapel length would look funny because it would stop before the train ended. If you want a shorter veil I would go with waltz or fingertip length.

I second the cathedral length. Your dress needs some drama, I woul prefer cathedral but a bubble veil or maybe cathedral mantilla might look stunning as well. Do you have the chance to try on your dress with different veil styles?

Grace Loves Lace has a beautiful silk chiffon veil–it might look cool to keep it all the same fabric (however I’m not sure how sheer the veil is in person). https://graceloveslace.com.au/shop/gabriela-veil/

Otherwise I would do a simple tulle veil

On the runway your dress was paired with a plain veil that has multiple layers. I like it because it adds that little bit of drama you talk about without lace. Here’s the pic:link

I also think a  drop veil would be gorgeous with your dress.

Also, if money is an issue, a simple tulle veil would be really easy to DIY!

Hi Sophielle!

Congrats on finding a dress at White! I’m a White bride, too ๐Ÿ™‚

I bought a sample at their Toronto store and placed an order for a veil at the Montreal store. Like you, I prefer a simple raw edge so I ended up with a cathedral length raw edge veil by Laura Jayne. It’s a drop veil with a blusher (can be worn back for volume) and you can easily pair it with sparkly hair accessories or statement earrings.

So nice to see another Montreal bride on these boards ๐Ÿ˜€

sophielle:  I had a Laura Jayne raw edge cathedral length veil, 2 layers – it was a stunner and worth every penny. She makes such beautiful veils. She actually custom made mine as I was really wanting raw-edged and cathedral length and for whatever reason I was having trouble finding it.
