My dress is Casablanca 1918,
http://www.casablancabridal.com/collections/view/1/9
which already is covered in lacy tulle all the way down, extending beyond the satin underneath. A cathedral train would be overkill, no?
So then, what veil do I wear with this? I am having a formal wedding, so I don’t want to do elbow length. But I’m also short (5’2", but I’ll be wearing 4" heels).
Help?

If you don’t want to do a short veil I could see this with a Chapel length veil, so it would come just to the floor but your dress would extend beyond a few feet (maybe you could get it shortened it if ends up being longer than that due to your height
). Cathedral would cover up the train and then it gets bustled so people wouldn’t really see much of it.

Hi Carolina! I’d say that either a chapel length veil with a plain cut edge (meaning no edging) or a birdcage would be great.
I’m leaning towards a simple, single layer chapel length, as it will stop right at the end of your gown and it won’t obscure the GORGEOUS detailing on your gown. It’s really beautiful!
You could also do a simple veil that just barely touches the floor with no train. At your height with heels, it shouldn’t be too hard to find. 🙂
Good luck, and let me know if you’d like me to try to find some pics for you!
