I think a simple fingertip length or walking veil would be lovely with your dress (gorgeous BTW!) Since you really aren’t a fan, you could place the veil lower for a little less drama 😉

I think a fingertip one tier veil would look awesome with that dress! not too much and the length would end at your fingertips.

@misschickpea:  +1! The one she is wearing in the pic looks nice with it but since you are so petite I agree they may make you look even shorter. Have you ever tried a veil on? Try them on with your wedding heels and your dress and see if it won’t cut you off.

@christybtobe: Go with the viel. I didnt want one either, but my fiance said it was important to him. Once I found the right one to go with dress I felt like a BRIDE, and I loved that feeling. I say fingertip length. Try one with some lace, it might compliment the dress quite well

I’m 5′ tall and I’m wearing a fingertip length veil.  I wanted a long one until I fell in love with the one I have.  I think as long as you don’t get one that’s really poofy, it shouldn’t make you look too short or cut you off.

Since you’re not a big fan of veils, I think a simple, 1 tier, cut edge veil is probably what you’ll go for more than anything, and it’ll look good with your dress without taking any attention away from it.  Something like this:
