I like the veils-  since the dress has so much detail, perhaps another veil would suit it better? I love the dress. Maybe I’m not the right person to critique, for me plainer is better 🙂 I love love love the dress though, I wouldn’t want to take away from its beauty.

I like both Mantilla options, although I think you’re right – they would blend in. I think the third option will outshine your dress instead of set it off.

I googled your dress (which is gorgeous!) and found this:

I think it’s perfect. You could definitely add some crystals to it.

I tend to think with a dress this gorgeous it really deserves to be the centre of attention (apart from you in it of course!!) so I think a cut cathedral veil – the plainer the better… but that’s just me! Congrats on being able to pull off a dress that spectacular too! Laughing

I love your shoes!!  Who makes them?  Are they only available in Italy?

I like your third proposition.  The dress is very ornate and lovely and the embroidery will make it special without being too much.

The moment I saw your dress and before I saw your veil options I immediately thought of a one or two tier should/elbow length veil with no adornments would be beautiful. So here’s my honest opinion and it goes with NOTHING you have singled out. I’ll explain why…

So the reasoning I have is because the NECKLINE and only the neckline of your dress reminds me of my grandmother’s dress and she had a shorter veil as well (disregard the hat thingy)

Again only my opinion…you’re gonna look beautiful regardless…I wish I had the body for that dress!

I agree with the other girls, I feel like too much veil wouldn’t let the dress stand out on its own and it’s so gorgeous, you don’t want that to happen.

The dress kind of reminds me of a modern interpretation of Princess Grace’s.  How about a veil like hers – minus the headpiece?

@gionnetto: can i just ask you where you found this dress? Is it still available overseas? I haven’t been able to find anything in the US due to it being discontinued and eep! so hard to find a sample dress. ANY information from the great bees would be sooooo amazing! Thank you! Smile
