@Excited To Bee:  Myfitnesspal is great, you don’t need an iphone although I love using the app.  You should check it out, lots of bees are on there!

I take a drugstore brand women’s one-a-day. I used to not bother, but then several times in a row I was turned away from donating blood because of low (though not anemic-level) iron.

I have to say, I find I have more energy on the days when I take it the night before. (I always take it at night; I find it upsets my stomach otherwise.) So I’m trying to be good about taking it every night, although I kind of hate the smell.

I use an all organic vitamin called Double X from Nutrilite.. I also use their concentrated fruits and veggies, their protein bars, and shakes, and their hair skin and nails vitamin. They have a lot of science… they made the first multi vitamin and have never had a recall on their vitamins since the 1930s so I wont use anyone else’s. I have never felt this good in my entire life..

I also use myfitnesspal

@Excited To Bee:  Taking it at night has really worked better for me for the stomach upset! I have no idea why.

@Excited To Bee: You will not get bulky. That’s a myth. The average woman does not have enough testosterone to get bulky. If you’re weight training, the extra protein is good for building muscle to look more toned.

I take a daily vitamin, 1 magnesium, 1 garlic pill (gel form), 1 mega red (gel fish oil), 1 vitamin b12 complex, 1 vitamin E.

I also eat at least 1 fiber bar a day, love drinkable yogurt that has extra protein added and berry smoothies by Bolthouse Farms.

I use myfitnesspal (both the web & android versions).  And I’m doing to visalus shakes twice a day while doing cardio a few times a week.

I’ve lost 11 punds in the last month!

@Excited To Bee: Nice to “meet” another Amanda. 🙂

Even if you’re not doing a lot of resistance training, I’m a fan of getting extra protein because it keeps you full longer, so it can help you on the nutrition side.

Still, I’d recommend adding some more resistance training. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn throughout the day. It will really help with your overall journey, and you don’t have to worry about bulking up. 🙂 Just looking at your previous experience with cardio-heavy workouts, I think resistance training could help you blast through that plateau.

I know this is a little off your original question, but I figure it’s important to note.
