(Closed) What vitamins/supplements/shakes do you use?

My standard regimine is

  • multivitamin (currently a prenatal since I’mpregnant) – New Chapter is my favorite brand
  • fish oil & krill oil
  • vitamin D

 

And we eat primal blueprint style (basically paleo + dairy).

My daily supplements are:

CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) – 4.5 g daily

B Complex + Vitamin C

Cod Liver Oil – 1 tbsp

I go by the primal blueprint as well – lots of fruits, veggies, nuts and lean proteins + a little dairy (piece of cheese here and there + half/half in coffee). I feel like I’m already getting most of my daily nutrient requirements so I forgo the daily multivitamin.

@GDub:  i did the 30 day isagenix too! i only lost 2lbs! i have the hardest time eating 5-6 times a day. and the ionix supreme shot that you have to take in the mornings, i never did. that was the worst taste in the world. but i fully agree – the shakes – i love! i just got more shakes, so im going to stick with using those products and drinking 2 a day.

@wifegoodman:  It’s true.  Everything but the shakes taste like poison.  :S  UGH.  I’m really happy with the way things are going (i’ve bought more shakes and am on day 33 i think) and I believe I will make the goal that I set for myself, which is something I didn’t realistically think I would do.  PM me if you want a shake buddy!  😉

Hair, Nails, Skin Vitamin or Women’s Daily MV with extra B-complex

Fish Oil

Protein Powder shake, usually post-workout, with almond milk, berries and chia seeds.

Black, strong coffee before a workout when I’m feeling super sluggish

I take multivitamin, fish oil, b12, Align and melatonin. I also drink naked fruit and vegie smoothies. But, I am not a great person to look at, I am pretty overweight 🙁
