Let him/her know who is going to be in the formal shots see below and any special decorative or DIY that you want highlighted. Also include any special guest (like elderly Aunt) that you *have* to have picture of. And if there is a specific pose, look, scene you want for your formal shots, let him/her know.

Keep in mind the flow of who needs to stick around. I asked one person in out extended families to be in charge of wrangling everyone (ie letting them know to stick around after the ceremony)

Formal Shot list

  • B&G w/ B’s extended family (10pp)
  • B&G w/ G’s extended family (8pp)
  • B&G w/ both immediate family (7pp)
  • B&G- w/ Wedding Party & immediate family
  • B&G- Wedding Party
  • B&G- various locations

i didn’t make a list, but if i had, i wish i had put these things on because i didn’t get them:

rings on ring pillow

shoes on feet (bride and groom)

full length pic of bride with bridesmaids standing next to each other

groom with bridesmaids

shot of complete table settings

note to have heart shaped ring facing up

jewelry shot (like earrings placed on bracelet or something)

things i DID get that i love and also would have been on said list probably would have been:

bride with veil covering her face

menu cards

close up of bouquet while holding it (so dress is in background of pic – not sure if u explained it right)

i also would specified some people shots that i specifically wanted:

bride, groom + brides’ mom only

bride and groom with each guest/couple (i only had 15 guests – which included 7 couples)

Instead of doing a first look with my Fiance, I’m going to stage the first look with my dad. I want the shot of his face when he first sees me in my dress.

That’s #1 on my list beside the ‘standards’
